In the fall of 2010 and spring of 2011, Sharon Wilcken was a volunteer on the Rouge Valley Health System MRI "Image is Everything" Campaign. In February, she initiated a spin-a-thon at the Women's Fitness Club in the Pickering Town Centre that earned over $100 for the cause. Click on the picture below to see the SNAP article.

In addition, Accolades Events has several years experience designing and implementing fund-raising events, such as:
- 2009 Markham Ribfest (see "Community Events" page). - 2nd Annual Night to Remember Gala & Silent Auction, which contributed to raising .over $19,000 for breast cancer and the Toronto Argonauts' Foundation "Stop the Violence" charity. - Fund-raising to send a student to Thailand through the International Student Volunteer program. - Two fund-raising events to support the Bethesda House (pictures below), serving women and families throughout Durham Region who have experienced domestic violence.
