At Accolades, we feel fund-raising activities are an important aspect of our social culture. They are not only a way to support important causes and those less fortunate than ourselves, but also help to bond communities with a common goal and promote team-building within companies.
Scope of What We Do
- Plan, track and execute all aspects of a first-time or annual event (e.g., walk, run, sporting event) - Arrange for participant registration, if needed - Develop and distribute advertising and promotional material - Work with local media - Obtain required permits and signage - Hire, train and supervise both paid and volunteer staff - Arrange for road closings, security and police as needed - Arrange for vendors - Solicit and secure sponsorships to support your fund-raising event - Solicit donations and run silent or live auctions - Track all contributions and issue any necessary receipts - Total and report contributions received and distribution to appropriate charities - Send thank you notes to contributors, if needed - Wrap-up report with recommendations for next time
